Advanced RPAS Flight Review
After passing the Transport Canada Advanced RPAS Exam, the in-person Flight Review is the mandatory practical evaluation required to earn your Pilot Certificate – Advanced Operations.
Conducted by DSOA’s TC-approved Flight Reviewers, this hands-on assessment verifies your ability to:
- Safely plan and execute advanced flight operations
- Operate in controlled airspace (with proper authorizations)
- Manage emergency procedures and risk mitigation
- Comply with CARs Part IX regulations
Duration: ~60 minutes Location: Cornwall, Eastern Ontario (outdoor & indoor options) Drone: You must bring your own compliant RPAS (<25 kg) Result: Pass = Immediate certificate processing
