DROCITY offers Level 1 Complex Flight Reviews for pilots conducting advanced drone operations. These reviews evaluate a pilot’s ability to safely perform complex missions, manage operational risks and comply with aviation regulations. Our experienced reviewers help ensure pilots are prepared to operate in demanding environments such as infrastructure inspections, industrial sites and specialized aerial operations.
Your path to L1C certification:
- Enroll in Online Ground School — The RPAS Centre provides 20 hours of mandatory training through their free Level 1 Complex Ground School. → RPAS Centre Level 1 Complex Ground School
- Pass the TC L1C Exam — Complete the Transport Canada Level 1 Complex theoretical exam with a minimum score of 80%. → Transport Canada Level 1 Complex Exam
- Book and Pass the L1C Flight Review — Complete the in-person flight assessment with a Transport Canada-sanctioned Flight Reviewer.
